Medical Massage

Medical massage is an outcome-based manual therapy. A medical massage therapist works closely with doctors to treat patients who are affected by pain, illness, or injury. This is sometimes also known as clinical or treatment massage. Medical massage is the application of specific manual treatment(s) targeting a specific ailment or diagnosis. The patient is assessed and evaluated by the therapist with specific outcomes being the basis for treatment.
