Dry Needling
Dry Needling helps to restore proper function of the soft tissue that is created by trigger point, tension bands, muscle knots and areas of inflammation. Over time these areas of tight tissue restrict proper joint function and decrease oxygen and blood flow. The tight tissue can cause nerve entrapments and cause acute or chronic pain. They can lead to a person having to change how they move and bad biomechanics.
One of the nice benefits of dry needling is that the placement of the needles are very specific to the areas of discomfort. A lot of soft tissue problems are deep in the muscle, different length needles can be used if needed.
