The office itself is inviting, but the real standout is the staff. Liz at the front desk deserves special recognition. The location can be a little tricky to find the first time, and before I ever called for help, she somehow realized I was circling the parking lot looking for the office and reached out to guide me in. That level of attentiveness is rare and immediately set the tone for the visit. Dr. Sullivan is equally impressive. He is the consummate professional—knowledgeable, confident, and exceptionally easy to talk to. Laura Link99 days agoI was in so much pain and honestly unable to get through my shift as a nurse when I walked into Sullivan Chiropractic for the first time. Bone pain had lead to muscle pain that then resulted in nerve pain, leaving my left arm unusable. A kind soul told me that Dr. Sullivan specialized in athletes and had many many nurses as patients. This was so worth the drive from Eastern Kentucky!!! Dr. Sullivan designed a treatment plan that incorporated realignment, deep tissue massage, ice, and anti-inflammatories. By the next day I had full range of motion for the first time in a month. I can’t thank him and his team enough. Functioning without pain is life changing and a blessing.Posted on Google

He is a good man and loving father and husband, and consummately top in his field; it's no wonder why he works with Olympic and Collegiate teams. I have had a very positive experience with Dr. Mike. He listens patiently and provides personalized care through soft tissue chiropractic therapy. This approach to chiropractic care is different from what I have experienced with other chiropractors and is really helping with my neck and back pain from a head-on auto collision. The office runs efficiently and you rarely have to wait, which can be a common frustration in medical offices. Chris J2891 days agoI go to Dr. Sullivan for chiropractic and dry needling care. His office is clean and friendly and has plenty of parking. Dry needling has really helped with muscular shoulder issues. If you haven't tried dry needling, and you are struggling with nagging injuries or pain, I suggest you do. Basically, very small needles are placed around the targeted area. A light electrical current is connected to the needles and causes your muscles in that area to pulse. The treatment takes about 15-20 minutes. It's pretty amazing how effective it is. A couple of things to note: It does not hurt, the process is very sanitary, and doesn't take a lot of time to get great results. I highly recommend it.Posted on Google

He’s extremely personable and always willing to listen to questions and concerns and provide the best care possible. Unlike most things during the day, I look forward to visiting Dr. Sullivan’s office. He’s extremely open about his training and the things he enjoys focusing on in chiropractic care. In the 2 months I have seen him, I have had only 2 migraines, and neither of them have been the typical 5 day migraine! In fact, none have lasted more than 24 hours. Adam Speigle3044 days agoI’ve been to many different chiropractors over the years, some were decent, but a lot of them were just there to take your money and sell you more adjustments that you didn’t need and which could in fact make your condition worse. Dr. Sullivan is by far the best physician I’ve been to for my chiro needs. No nonsense, straight to the point, and gives honest and useful opinions/advice. Angela Cobb3087 days agoDry Needling SUCCESS! I developed knots in my calf that were giving me a pretty good amount of pain on runs, rolling and other therapies just weren't giving me relief. Dr. Mike suggested I give Dry Needling a try - thank goodness he did! I can't feel the needles go in - once hooked up to a current the muscles twitch a lot for about 10 minutes - once unhooked he digs into my calf real good. I've done this three times now and each time my legs feel better and better. The knots are breaking up, I haven't had pain on a run in a couple weeks, and my foam roller and other stretching are actually working again. If you need a stronger therapy DO THIS! I think I will continue with this therapy quarterly (at least) so I can stay on top of things and not get so knotted up again.Posted on Google

I had no injury or pain, it was for maintenance and max performance as I prepared to push my body beyond the limits for a 6 month push. HE DELIVERED! Fit & Fierce3367 days agoI have never been to a chiropractor before, due to a recent car accident and my profession (personal training) this visit was necessary. For the past few months I've been experiencing muscle pain in my shoulder and tightness in my hips, enabling me to do simple movements such as squats, lunges and push ups. My trainer (Larry Jackson) insisted that I go see Mike. After three visits, the pain is improving as well as my range of motion. I am slowly getting back to doing barbell squats (increasing the weight weekly) and I can do push ups again😊. My experience here at Sullivan chiropractic was nothing short of amazing. Since I've been seeing Dr. Sullivan my pain has significantly decreased and have had no headaches! He's a miracle worker!! I have mild Cerebral Palsy, and it is very important to me that I feel listened to about how my body is doing, and have someone who is able to find solutions that work for me. In both cases Dr. Mike has been outstanding! I highly recommend his practice; he and his office staff are professional and approachable. I also really appreciate that he does not recommend treatments that are not really appropriate for me, just to be able to bill the insurance company more money, which I have had happen at other clinics.Posted on Google

Nicole Yosmali3558 days agoI was a bit skeptical about chiropractic treatment due to past experiences and uncertain what treatment option to choose--if any. During my first visit, Dr. Sullivan patiently listened to my back pain episodes which prevented me from my favorite activity and hobby--running and also interfered with my daily life. I realized quickly Dr. Sullivan genuinely cared about my healing. I also knew I could discuss my safe return to running with him since he is also an athlete. On Thanksgiving Day after 2-3 visits of Active Release Technique (ART) I felt "SO MUCH BETTER" and I was moving without thinking of the pain. I believe his treatment methods including ART are accelerating my healing and allowing me to function more fully. Tabitha3559 days agoHaving seen a practitioner prior to seeing Dr. Sullivan, I was discontent with the lack of healing I was experiencing. I specifically sought out Dr. Sullivan for the ART therapy he uses for my nerve entrapment which I had not been properly misdiagnosed with by the previous practitioner. After one session, I was 70% better than I had been in 3 weeks. He and his staff got me in within 2 days of calling and are always, kind, courteous and attentive. He effectively helps me address the sport specific issues I have as a professional athlete engaged in high level performance. He has saved my climbing trip on more than one occasion. I have been a runner for years and this problem was keeping me from not only running, but from functioning normally in my day to day life. After a couple visits I noticed some definite improvement. After a couple weeks I was running again. Now in early November I'm running more frequently than I was before the sciatic problem occurred and my pace is back as well. Ouch 😢 Had a groin strain about 3 months ago and of course I did not pay attention to it keep playing in my men's basketball league until one day my body said no more ! After going to acupuncture sessions and other practice with no real results!! Debora Zaglul3784 days agoI am a professional ballroom dancer with over 25 years of dance experience. My body is my job and I take caring for it very seriously. With so many years I have had a lot of damage to my body, some from overuse and some from major injuries. I have tried countless rehabilitation techniques and treatments.if you've heard of it, I've done it. I've Seen many of the top physicians and specialists. Dr. Mike Sullivan is hands down the BEST chiropractor I have ever received treatment from. He is clearly very educated, and really understands the body's mechanics. He is careful to tailor the treatments to your specific injury, and in my case also to my profession. I have gone to countless chiropractors who quickly adjust (the stereotypical 'cracking') within five minutes and then your out the door. I have never felt rushed with dr. Sullivan. On average my appointments last 20-30minutes working directly with him. He is very caring, attentive, and patiently listens to what you are feeling and the progress you felt you've made. He is careful to treat you with the technique for you to recieve the most benefit (Whether is be Active release techniques , graston, and other techniques he uses)and for what's healthiest for the body. Lindsey Woodyard3828 days agoDr. Sullivan has helped me tremendously with neck pain and migraine headaches. In October 2014 I began having chronic headaches that were debilitating. I did physical therapy for months and even saw a different chiropractor. I would have some relief, but nothing long term and I was still taking lots of medications for pain and migraines. Dr. Sullivan has been able to help me to almost completely eliminate my neck pain and my migraine headaches have decreased significantly. Any time I have a fall or pull something I go here and get fixed right up fast. I have been a patient for 5 years. He has helped me tremendously over the years with various shoulder and knee issues. I would highly recommend him if you are struggling with injury. I personally see him for more of the soft tissue and ART therapy that he offers. As an athlete it is nice to be able to go to one person for all my needs in once office rather than having to go see multiple people. Kent Rawlings4178 days agoDr. Mike Sullivan was highly recommended to me by several people who had great experiences for different things. I was skeptical to go see him because I had already been to several doctors. I originally went to him for a neuroma in my foot. I had received several cortisone shots from different doctors, and they were not working anymore. I wanted to get to the root issue and not deal with the symptom. When I went to see Dr. Mike, he was realistic and gave me a 60% chance of helping me. I took a chance, and so glad I did. I was barely able to walk, now I am exercising daily and wearing my heels again with no pain. Since then, he has helped me with my back and neck issues. The thing I love most about his care is that he incorporates the chiropractic with the A.R.T (active release technique) therapy. A.R.T therapy is a deep tissue technique that gets the blood flow to promote healing. This made a huge difference for me. He understands that return to activity is extremely important to me. I battled plantar fasciitis for 6 months. Within a few weeks of therapy at Sullivan's, I was nearly pain free. I could not think of anyone better to treat my injuries.
